Sourced From Nature
We are a plant-based, vegan skincare brand focused on delivering results that make you look and feel beautiful.
Decades Of Mixing & Formulating
We create decadent plant-based skincare and body products that are deliciously effective without the use of harsh chemicals. Our products are formulated using a high concentration of fruit, vegetable and botanical extracts that deliver results.
Crafted after our sister company Shescentit’s haircare products (you’ll find most product lines/names mirror their haircare products), our products are more than a decade in the making.
We strongly believe that mother nature supplies us with a bounty of what we really need. Our use of nature’s gifts is rooted in our determination to minimize our exposure to harsh chemicals - something we’ve been doing for decades.
Our products are cruelty free (no animal testing ever going on here), paraben free and phthalate free. We’ll do our best to always consider the environment, your health and your peace of mind when we create our blends.
Created by a mother and daughter team who are obsessed with the use of natural ingredients for their beauty needs.
The Maker
When I was 7 years old, I watched my mom create a face mask using the leftover pulp of fruits she'd used to make a fruit punch (guava, grapefruit, limes and starfruit).
I curiously asked her what she was doing, absolutely fascinated with the process. She replied "I'm making a vitamin C mask. It keeps my skin clear." That same year, my grandma used okra to wash my hair during the summer, to banish lice, and my hair grew astronomically. That was the beginning of my love affair with nature-sourced beauty care.
I was 8 when I started mixing oils and creating pomades for the other little girls in my village to use in their hair. I didn’t have much of a beauty routine as a child, but I would mix my fruity face masks, use cherries to stain my lips and indulge in lime & bilimbi nail baths. Growing up in South America, there was an abundance of fruits and botanicals to explore.
Today, decades later, I still keep it simple when it comes to my beauty routine. My skin is very sensitive and after having an allergic reaction while washing my hair, I created my first beauty brand Shescentit in 2007. Unable to use traditional over-the-counter products, I was forced to create my own hair and skincare products.
I created Plum Jelly Overnight Moisturizer more than a decade ago as my singular after-wash beauty product. It doubles as a mask for when my skin feels irritated and a moisturizer that keeps my skin hydrated and clear.
I’m excited to be able to share my skincare creations with you. I know you’ll love them as much as I do.
